Hey gang, I know a lot of us have been PvPing in battlegrounds and arena teams (which is why the guild was created and called "Homicide" to begin with), but Braj has recently suggested that we field 2 separate arena teams.
The first team will be a serious PvP created and spec'ed to compete in the highly competitive 5v5 bracket. The other team will be for more casual players just looking for points to get arena armor. Please review the thread in the forums about this topic and respond with your interest for either team. |

Time for yet another patch, but with this one comes new content outside of Karazhan. Hopefully we can field a team to give it a shot.

As some of you may be aware, the patch 2.2.0 is coming soon. Activity has been low since the end of summer, but I expect action to pick up again in the coming weeks. I won't go so far as to say that 10-man raiding will resume, but we should have more people online.
See you online!

We tried our new quick-route to the Shade of Aran by doing Moroes, Opera, Curator, Shade, & Chess and were successful. We were not on our A-game and could have used better pacing, but all the bosses died, and we continue to gear up. It was a workman-like effort all-in-all last night for Homicide. Thursday we'll do Prince, Illhoof, then whatever optional bosses for which we have time.
Congrats to everyone for one-shotting the Wizard of Oz event which we got last night for the first time. Lions and tigers and bears, Oh My!
Moroes:
[Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings]
[Idol of the Avian Heart]
Opera Event:
[Blue Diamond Witchwand]
[Trial-Fire Trousers]
The Curator:
[Gloves of the Fallen Champion]
[Pauldrons of the Solace-Giver]
Shade of Aran:
[Boots of the Infernal Coven]
[Mantle of the Mind Flayer]
Chess Event:
[Bladed Shoulderpads of the Merciless]
[Heart-Flame Leggings]

In what should be considered an encounter that is 70% luck and 30% skill, Homicide takes down Prince Malchezaar on the 7th try of the first night of attempts. We got him down to 1% on our second dry-run attempt, and was promptly pwned on the next several by a mixture of bad infernal placement, Nazul going from 13K hitpoints to 0 in under a second, and bad player positioning during Shadow Nova. On our final attempt at him, we had one man down until 1% and lost a player at the bell. We worked different positioning tactics, healing & group buff rotations, and player-beacon placement and would feel good about another attempt on Thursday night. Great work everyone, we had good tanking as usual, excellent healing, and well spread DPS (less than 2-3% difference between all 6 DPSers).
Loot was basically a Roguefest (with apologies to Slycoop who went to rez someone and astral recalled to Shattrath) Congrats to Painless on his new headpiece, and Stickuh for the other high quality products. Hopefully, we can clear through to the Shade on Tuesday night.
Prince Malchezaar:
[Helm of the Fallen Champion]
[Ring of a Thousand Marks]
[Malchazeen]
